WEDDING ISSUES by Elle Evans Olivia “Liv” Fitzgerald takes on maid of honor duties for her BFF Leighton and cousin Kali as they compete to be featured on the cover of a bridal magazine. If all that wasn’t enough, Liv is finishing up law school and vying for a position at a top law firm. Soon Liv gets in over her head as she plans, plots and tries to control and please everyone. There was a lot going on here. It was giving the movie Bride Wars mashed up with a dramatic southern reality TV show. The characters were pretty surface level but likable. Reading this made me grateful I had a small, simple wedding, ha. Overall, a fast paced, not quite a rom-com story. It kept me interested despite the cheesiness and over the top hijinks. Recommend if you’re looking for a quick read this summer. Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️
