Great Story, Terrible Tell

So this is a story that I already knew about because I had seen it on dateline or 20/20 or whatever. I was so looking forward to reading the details of the crimes. However, about 1/3 into this book, I became very frustrated with the style of writing and the confusing synopsis and character development. There were several typos in it as well. I put it down more than once saying I’m done. I can’t finish it blah blah blah. But then I picked it back up again because I remembered the story, and wanted to finish it. It was a very difficult read, very confusing as it’s written. I’m so conflicted because again, it’s a great, crazy, wild story…yet convoluted by the style of writing. It almost seems like it was written by someone who didn’t proofread it.
