In 2012 I started working on a Doctorate in Ministry. During the process of conducting research I was taken aback as it was painfully borne in to my consciousness that there is really only one requirement for the followers of Jesus and that is discipleship. I published the findings of my dissertation in a prior book, Leadership Is Discipleship. This book is intended to be the handbook to that previously published book. The main objective of this handbook is to enable believers in Christ to acquire the knowledge and worldview that will allow them to grow in discipleship. The goal for all believers is for Christ to be formed in us. Discipleship is a continuous process, as the believer strives to be imitators of Christ on a daily, minute by minute basis. I pray that all who utilize this handbook will truly commit to becoming disciples of Jesus.
