The Wild and Untamed Road Less Traveled

Adventurous journey + Reality = UNTAMED. Men need other men to guide them on their journey, and the journey to true and deep manhood is a wild journey. It is untamed, even though today's American culture would make us think that true manhood is about easy money, easy friends, easy women, and the type of sports you're involved in. Those are all surface issues that Xan embraced...only to come up empty. And through a search that most men don't allow themselves to dive into, Xan not only finds out what makes a man, but allows the reader to take a journey of their own and ask the similar questions. And answers to the questions will begin to take shape by reading Untamed. Untamed is a gift to men, whether young or old. You might see some references to Wild at Heart in it, but this is actually a good thing. To me, it validates the whole message of Wild at Heart, and the good news Jesus Christ brings, because that message is lived out, wrangled with and full of a healthy dose of hope. Untamed will help young men decipher the mystery of their life, and it will help the mature men understand the men just starting their adventurous journey to becoming fully masculine.

A RARE GIFT TO YOUNG MEN

Thanks Xan for this wonderful book. This will likely get compared to other 'men's books' in the marketplace - and there are plenty! - but this is a rare find as Xan brings a unique and very wise voice to issues all boys encounter in the passage to manhood. As a father of three fine young male teenagers I am most grateful for Xan and his voice. He speaks truth in a contemporary cultural setting, reminding us the Biblical guidelines and God's framework available to us all. Good stuff!

After reading this book in two days. I was PUMPED! If you have ever been in College, High School or of the male gender you should read this book. You ask why? The reason is, Xan truely describes how to become a man you want to be. He gives practical examples of how he has done that in his own adventure. I feel like I know the Guy! Great Stories! These are the stories movies are based on! Can't wait to read MORE!

This book rocks!

I didn't know what to expect in this book but it had such a cool cover that I bought it. I'm glad I did because this dude relates to all of us who have been searching for something more in life, relationships, adventure, and the God who made it all. The author, Xan (cool name), uses the crazy experiences in his life to get across some things that will stick with me the rest of my life, what are those things? I think you should read it and find out. You won't regret it, this is an easy and entertaining book to read.
