In the writing of Unsung Texas: What's in a Name, the writer has related to the occurrence of events as they are sequentially remembered. There is the contention that the subconscious mind stores in memory everything one needs in order to know the truth about any and all thoughts and form. And the author seeks access to the memory bank and attempts to the highest possible degree to reopen files that perhaps are closed to the conscious mind. The story may not necessarily conform to a chronologically structure or format, as mainly the desire is to share, at least in part, certain experiences from the past of a population of people living in a small town in Texas, and who otherwise might be forgotten. It may be as and to some extent, that in the minds of the larger world, they never existed. The exception, of course are the young girls and boys, who as women and men, made sizeable imprints, and are recognizable figures and characters playing on the grand stage of life. Thus, the challenge to the reader simply may be to connect the collective dots.
