From the world of Unremarkable.
As the son of German immigrants living in frontier Pennsylvania, Jozef Kelin's life was filled with simple pleasures: his nephew's baptism, his brother's wedding, tending his father's farm, and spending time with friends. The appearance of strangers in town interrupts this pastoral existence, as Jozef is hired to be a translator and hunter for an English land surveyor who is hoping to stake claims in the vast Ohio territory. As the party travels west, Jozef and the others begin to realize that the wilderness hides dangers beyond wolves and men. An encounter with a trapper leaves Jozef mortally wounded, and his simple life is forever altered as Jozef rises from his own grave under the command of a savage, brutal monster. Forced to perform the most unspeakable acts, Jozef slowly perceives that he has more control over his actions than he realized. With the help of a Seneca guide and warriors from a secretive tribe, he undertakes a quest to free himself from both the monster that controls him and the guilt for his sins.
