THE UNSELECTED JOURNALS OF EMMA M. LION, Volume 6 by Beth Brower Miss Emma M. Lion is finally twenty one and Lapis Lazuli House is now hers. BUT she has to find gainful employment to pay for the upkeep. Mishaps and shenanigans are never too far away for Emma, but as always she handles it with humor and grace. More background information is revealed about the men in her life. Though there are still some questions to be answered. I need more details about Islington! He has become a favorite of mine. Some thoughts… I do love when a story includes a masked ball; a Twelfth Night Ball to be exact —fun! Aunt Eugenia is a trip and not in a good way. I feel bad for poor Arabella who has to deal with/suffer through being her daughter. Argus Fard can kick rocks. I want more of Mary and her Professor. Charles Goddard needs to take a hint! I adore Mrs. Penury! The slow burn potential romance paid off because what is that cliffhanger ending?! Gimmie book 7 now! Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐️
