There's been a rumor going around the school yard. Whispers about something the kids call Mister Snif, though details are few. All anyone seems to know is that he creeps into your house while everyone is asleep. And since he's blind, Mister Snif has to smell his way from room to room, gobbling up each victim in their turn. While Deacon Bluff is too old to believe that kind of stuff, his little brother is another story. In fact, now that the two share a bedroom, the boys have hardly slept all week. Exhausted and fully at his wits end, Deek doesn't know what he's going to do, only that he's starting to feel a lot like one of the living dead. And possibly...he's exactly right.
