Marketing can be murder. You need a work/life plan to survive it. Phil Cross always had a plan. This week's plan was a game-changing one. He hadn't quite become the high-tech marketing superstar he thought he could be. His career path had led him to Max Song's AOTA company as Director of Business Development. His colleagues, his bosses and his girlfriends had each played a part in guiding his course and defining his place in the world. He'd had a busy and successful work life (except for the Milan debacle that had haunted him ever since); he liked his colleagues and he loved both of his highly accomplished girlfriends (He had to make a choice between them soon, if they gave him the chance). Life was good. Now was his big opportunity. He was going to present The Proposal - his plan to take the business and himself to a higher plane altogether.
