Unobstructed Views is the testimony of an incarcerated man who had to fight against a flawed criminal justice system and other bureaucratic agencies while coping with the trauma of being in prison. This book is not an autobiography but reads as a journal at times. I wrote about my experiences, thoughts and beliefs to push myself through some of the most difficult moments in my life. Writing became therapeutic for me to cope with the systemic racism, disappointments, setbacks and loses of every magnitude. However, the Light found its way through the tunnel, piercing the darkness to unblock all obstructions. My mind has been liberated, and this project was born from that liberation.
