Unnecessary infidelity tells a story of love, betrayal and sex in the Reynolds family, a family made up of Jackie and Dylan who were happily married for 20 years until one day for work reasons Dylan had to leave Jackie alone for 6 months, during who found support in a co-worker with whom she made a very good friendship and who one fine day, due to the effects of alcohol, abuses her and triggers a series of events in her life once her husband finds out about the infidelity. Jackie is forced to fight alone to get ahead while her husband moves to another country to get away from her and try to forget the mistake he committed.
