UnMotivated On Purpose: Why Motivation & Self-improvement books aren't helping you

By Taylor Lovett

What If Everything You've Been Told About Motivation... Is Actually Making You Less Motivated?
If you're tired of feeling stuck, guilty, overwhelmed, or secretly annoyed at all the "just try harder" advice, the problem isn't you. The problem is the way the world teaches you to fix yourself. For years, you've been chasing motivation like it's a magical potion - reading books, making plans, watching videos - yet nothing ever sticks for more than three days.
This book explains why.
Inside UnMotivated on Purpose, you'll discover a simple but powerful truth: you're not unmotivated - you're mis-motivated. You've been taught to rely on hype instead of psychology, pressure instead of strategy, and willpower instead of understanding how your brain actually works.
There is a better way to change your life.
This book reveals a practical, science-based approach to personal growth that doesn't depend on forcing yourself to "feel motivated." You'll learn why traditional self-help backfires, how your brain protects you from change, and what truly moves you from intention to action - without guilt, burnout, or pretending to wake up at 5 a.m. forever.
UnMotivated on Purpose is a refreshingly honest guide for people who want real results, not unrealistic promises. It's the book for you if you've tried everything... except the one thing that works: understanding yourself before trying to change yourself.
By learning how motivation really works, you finally learn how you work, and that's when everything starts to change.
