What does it take for a good man to break another man's legs and throw him on a bonfire just to savor the screams?
Victor DeBoer was adrift in the world after the prospective combat engineer left the Army before completing his training. If civilian employers were reluctant to hire him when they thought he was only good at blowing stuff up, the pandemic put the final nail in that coffin. Forced to return home with his tail between his legs instead of as the glorious success he always dreamed of, he is only able to surround himself with the simple love of his family for a brief moment before a chance meeting with members of the notorious Dirty Kingz street gang rips them away from him again.
