For People Who Love Dogs and Laughter

I just finished reading this wonderful book. It's a collection of columns written by Beth Quinn for my local newspaper The Times Herald Record in Middletown, New York. Beth is a complete dog lover and a wonderful writer. Her stories of her dogs and kids and family over the years are hysterical, interesting, and just plain fun to read. There were many times when I read this book that I kept laughing out loud and chuckling to myself. I actually had read most or all of these columns as they appeared in our newspaper but loved them all over again last week when I read the book. Beth Quinn writes a weekly column for The Record. Often it's political, both local and national issues, but her columns may focus on any subject. She writes well, has an interesting perspective, and usually is funny, too. I sent this book to my cousin in Chicago, Judith, who has two service dogs, and she loved it. She says she's going to buy copies for her friends who are cat people!
