I was super lucky not to have found this movie for 37 years. Too late, I read the reviews and had to see the movie.
There are dozens of movies full of Cujo's “Cujo” (1983) and Christine's “Christine” (1983), but no one cares about felines. The only time they make cats familiars, “Bell Book and Candle” (1958). Finally, these little cuties come into their own. I did like “The Cat Creature” (1973), featuring a cat with a similar attitude.
A little cutie pie escapes an experimental station. He has a nasty habit of nibbling on mostly bad guys, possibly George Kennedy (1925-2016). Of course, the movie has tempting, tasty girls. The movie is quite dated, and it has a made-for-TV feel. The version I saw was 1080p, so I wonder if this has been remastered.
The plot is: cutie pie gets stuck on a boat at sea. Now what is there to eat? Will “we” become cat-chow?
