Global warming from a new angle with new answers.

A unique non-political study of the facts associated with global warming. Taken from the vantage point of an insurance industry executive evaluating risk assessment, the author is not interested in casting blame only evaluating probabilities. His eight year study brought to his attention the close correlation between the present climate model and that of the primian extinction of 240 million years ago. In that event the three point trap of high co2 levels, massive methane hydrate releases and widespread ocean anoxia lead to the extinction of 95% of all life on earth. Admittedly this is not a feel good book for the beach but is a real eye-opener on so of the harsh realities that we may face if we continue on our current course. This is one of the only books that I've read on the subject that give realistic alternatives that could and should be implemented.
