My hope is that this current century which we all share, would benefit from the follies of the previous one, making for a less traumatic world - a more civilized world. I had never before seen this topic covered. However, as I grew up in the second half of the 20th century, I was conscious of how traumatic the various conflicts around the world were to millions upon millions of innocent souls -- notwithstanding the many atrocities that had taken place in the first part of the century before I was born, that were the subject of many a discussion or were written into modern history.
