Jacob Carter is a research scientist for pharmaceutical giant, Syntest Corporation, a leading supplier of insulin. Jacob's wife, Emma, is a rising sales star for a medical products company. Jacob discovers a mutation of a drug that could be a miracle cure for diabetes. While development of the drug ensues, two Syntest executives, fearing the cure will financially ruin the company, embark on a plot to blackmail Jacob into sabotaging the drug's development. Jacob and Emma are suddenly thrust into a high stakes game of corporate greed and suspense that will test their souls and endanger their lives.
