Is there such a thing…

The 5th novel in the Silver Springs series by Brenda Novak. What can I say? I didn’t think it was possible to top the last novel, but here it is! This story was just so riveting and made full of emotions one goes through in love, tragedy, trauma, and of course the battle of guilt of conscious for what is right for family and those closest to you. How many times have we put our own happiness on the back burner to make sacrifices for our loved ones? No matter what it costs us! This story is about that, sacrificing what the main character wanted for the guilt of the past and her family obligations. Until she could no longer handle the caustic treatment of her one family member. She never gave herself credit for what she gave up in life, she never in her current situation acknowledged all she did for family over happiness. But she loved deeply and with passion and found that happiness could go away as fast as it comes. She faced her struggles and withstood her family, telling the truth even though it could shatter her two most loved people. Luckily, although emotions came forth from her holding back the truth, because of family, the others could go above and beyond the deception. The end leaves us finding only one family member not willing to forgive and forget as of yet. Everyone else has moved on and let go, which is the best way to live and learn! Excellent lessons and storyline.
