Understanding The Seventy Weeks Prophecy Of Daniel 9: 24-27

The Holy Bible is a well of knowledge to which the bottom shall never be reached despite the best efforts of man, for while we use the sturdy bucked of prayer and study to draw from the well of life, so that we may drink long and deep from these waters, the waters are themselves never depleted and the bottom is never reached. Of all the waters drawn from within The Holy Bible, The Seventy Weeks Prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27, and especially Daniel 9:25 hath been sought unto, for these waters reveal unto us the great and only hope for mankind, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We read from The Prophecy: "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall even in troublous times. (Daniel 9:25). These words here that we have just read from The Prophecy have been discussed, debated, both loved and probably hated, for they indeed reveal the great hope of salvation given by The Messiah, for these words reveal The Messiah Himself.

In the following pages of this book, we seek to go deep into the well waters of Holy Scripture concerning this prophecy of Seventy Weeks, for we seek most specifically and earnestly to fully understand in minute detail the most critical portion of this prophecy, that is, when the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem occurred according to The Holy Bible, History, and Chronology, for when this commandment went forth, then 69 Weeks, that is, 483 years were to elapse and The Messiah was to be Anointed, and start His ministry that would last for three and one half years.

Therefore, let us be very blunt and to the point, The Seventy Weeks Prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 is the foundation on which Christianity is both built and proved to be true religion of God, for it gives the evidence for Christianity in the most specific manner of proving that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is The Messiah foretold in the portion of The Book, that is, The Old Testament, that was by every measurement that a skeptic could put forth, written down before it happened and happened exactly as it was written in minute detail, of which by the grace and mercy of God we will go into deep and vast detail, for this living and active miracle proves God, for it is impossible that minutely and specific historic detail could be written down over a century before it happened and then happened exactly as it was written, and yet this is exactly what the scientific and skeptical date for The Book of Daniel reveals. Amen.
