By Thomas M Jacobson

Book Overview

Underdog is the extraordinary memoir of attorney, civil rights advocate, and Holocaust survivor Thomas M. Jacobson.

From escaping Nazi Germany as a child to becoming a respected lawyer in the United States, Jacobson's life is a testament to resilience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

Drawing on decades of legal practice and firsthand involvement in pivotal moments of American history, he recounts his work in the Milwaukee Fair Housing Movement, landmark constitutional cases, and representation of families seeking justice in nationally recognized legal matters.

Along the way, he reflects on the challenges, triumphs, and moral convictions that shaped both his career and his life.

More than a legal memoir, Underdog is an inspiring story of determination, integrity, and the enduring fight for civil rights. Readers interested in history, law, social justice, and powerful true-life stories will find this book both compelling and thought-provoking.
