ok book

This book was not what I was expecting so I was a little disappointed but all in all it was a good book about the times of an undercover officer

A realistic and exciting page turner!

I found Greg Quesnelle's "Undercover: My Story" to be the account of a real life hero in the war on crime. The well-written story involves thrills, chases, and dangerous encounters with suspects from the view of the undercover agent as he points out: "You have to understand that police are people too." This is a fact that is often forgotten by much of the general public as we place police officers on a pedestal and expect so much more from them in every area of life. The honest and good undercover agent, in order to survive, must have knowledge of general psychology, criminology, law, physical fitness, human limitations and weaknesses, and even electronics, as Quesnelle reveals in Chapter 10, "Wired for Coke." The author was armed with this knowledge throughout his lengthy career! Unfortunately, most undercover agents that I have encountered in Florida do not come close to approaching the high standards of investigative intelligence and the principles exhibited by Quesnelle and his colleagues. In the never-ending battles between good and evil, we do have some heroes. I would certainly buy a second book, perhaps an in-depth story of a specific case that Quesnelle views as standing out from the rest, if he should decide to continue in his writing career.

Author, Greg Quesnelle, takes you into the unknown world of an undercover cop. Through his excellent writing, at many times you are turning each page, waiting, with apprehension and anticipation, wondering what he will "uncover" next. This book is a reality and a page-turner, delving into the unknown and into the life an undercover cop faces on a daily basis. While he struggles with home life and obligations, he is totally committed to his work. His commitment is astounding and brings the reader to the reality of trials and tribulations an undercover cop faces as each new day begins. Thank you, Mr. Quesnelle for your devotion and dedication, and in doing your part in "taking care of the bad guys!" May you have continued success with your book. It would make a great movie!
