Tycoon protector roommate

Allison Whittaker is a successful prosecutor in the DA's office who has had threats made against her. Connor Rafferty is a self-made millionaire security specialist, and a friend of the family. Pretty Good

Alison is a prosecutor at the DA's office who has started getting death threats. Connor is the college buddy of her brother and bodyguard hired by her family to protect her. What Connor doesn't know that Alison has had a crush on him since her teenage years. She's also carried a lot of animosity from those teen years since he found her in a bar, carried her out and ratted her out to her parents. She was actually there to catch a glimpse of him and has been holding a grudge for years. Alison doesn't believe she needs his services but agrees when the threats get worse. Connor takes one look at the grown up Alison and knows he has to be with her. He moves in to protect her and soon the bickering and tension is turning into something more. They have a lot of sexual chemistry, but can they get along and does Alison see him as below her in class. This is a pretty good book, although I've read the same basic story (different books and characters) before. The only thing missing is some originality, but still it is a good enough book.
