judging a diagnosis

what could be more natural than wanting a normal, healthy baby? if a less than perfect birth results, can a doctor be held liable in a court of law? an excellent courtroom drama where an important personal event is transformed by the exigencies of civil law and thhe horse trading aspects of settlement. sadly, venality reigns in the celebratory, stick-it-to-them conclusion, leaving a bittersweet aftertaste.
