There I was buried underneath the hard rocks of life, gasping for air while my choices shoved me deeper into the earth. I was the diamond stuck so deep in the debris of decisions that I needed God's love to loosen the ground that covered me. I could not write this book without wondering, what are people going to think? What do they think of me now? I started asking myself if I were selfish for being hesitant with sharing the details that molded me into who I am today.
