Kristopher Davidson is a retired Navy SEAL, an avid historian, hiker and fisherman. He is hiking a fairly well-hidden trail in the Smoky Mountains when he realizes almost immediately that he is not in a normal forest as there is something very different with the path he is following. He comes across the enchanted Lake Atagahi, which has been a myth for years, and is honored with a magical view of the lake which is otherwise not seen by strangers who night get this far into the forest. The fairies of the woods can read his heart and mind and know he is a very compassionate individual and not a hunter; he is here for the beauty of nature. Knowing this, they allow him to continue to the land of the little people -- an anomaly or gene mutational generation -- who have lived there for years unknown to mankind. They have been well protected by the fairies of the woods, plus the fact that the forest is very thick and hidden deep within a special valley between two mountains. This is the story of his fascinating hike and his passion for the city of little people.
