Unbelievable gods?

At just short of 70 I have been around too long to be bothered by people thinking I am crazy, especially when I ofttimes tell them of my waking thoughts. This one woke me at 5am: possibly because I started watching the TV series of Smallville, the exploits of the young Superman. Most 'normal people' watched this many years ago, but I am not an aficionado of TV so wouldn't have known it was in vogue back then. I enjoyed the series, mainly because I know it is totally fictitious, and whilst other Superman offerings focus on his saving the world exploits, this series was mainly about his beginnings, and how he grew up slowly but surely realising he was different; realising that he was not like other boys, or indeed anyone Anyone who knew anything about Superman would have been able to see where each plot was going, even though it seemed too 'dragged out' for me personally, as I wished there was more 'saving the world' in each episode. Nonetheless, I watched the series, but with a constant niggle in the back of my mind, along the lines of 'In the main, Superman was loved by many - but not all; he did his best, but sometimes it wasn't good enough', then I thought of God, loved by many, not all...but then the comparisons seemed to rapidly dwindle - but that's my viewpoint; I wonder what the reader may think after I consider what may be considered as unbelievable gods.
