Book Overview

For Kim Woodburn finding fame in her 60s in the smash hit television series How Clean is Your House? with fellow dust-buster Aggie Mackenzie is like living a fairytale. Often she has simply wished that she had never been born, for Kim has overcome horrific emotional and physical abuse both at the hands of her alcoholic mother and her philandering, sexually abusive father. In her brave and revealing story Kim's memories of growing up are not of love...

Wonderful story!

How wonderful! It's like hearing Kim tell the story herself. She does not mind telling her own shortcomings, which makes her esteem in my eyes ever higher!

Great book

I've let my mom and each of my sisters borrow it, too. Very sad, but she's a better person now for it.

I loved the book and I think that all parents & woman need to read it .

I loved the book.......and it dose not change the way I look at Kim.I think what she went through growing up and then entering the adult world made her a very strong woman.most of all person......I only wish I could be as strong of a person (woman) as she is.

I couldn't put this book down....

Since watching "How Clean is Your House", I've admired both Kim & Aggie...even more so when I read what Kim has overcome in her life. She is an inspiration and I respect her a great deal. It is sad what she's had to live through but, thank God, she's had positive outcomes.

the best book i have read

If you love Kim Woodburn from How clean is your house, you need to get this book. Once you start it you will be not be able to put it down. From a terrible childhood, to a horrible first marriage, to her wonderful life now. To see her on the televsion, you would never know how tragic her life was, before meeting her current husband and getting her own show. I admire this great lady and would love to meet her someday. She is an inspiration to all women. Thank you Kim. God Bless
