Through this series, we will explore: * What the Evangelistic Sermon is: A divine, Spirit-breathed proclamation that both saves the preacher 4and calls the hearer to repentance and belief. Evangelism is not optional; it is essential. * Why the Evangelistic Sermon must be preached: Because Jesus preached it. Because Paul proclaimed it. Because it is the power of God unto salvation. Because this generation needs to hear it. * How the Evangelistic Sermon is preached: With clarity, compassion, conviction, and urgency--bringing the listener to a decision: Will you believe? This sermon series matters because students at Wheaton must wrestle with the weight and wonder of the gospel. It's not merely a message of morality or inspiration--it is the only hope for a broken world. If Jesus is the answer, we must not whisper the good news--we must herald it. Now more than ever, our campus needs to be awakened, not just to the truths we learn, but to the souls we are called to reach.
