Of all the animals domesticated by man, the cat is the least domestic. It is an animal that is highly adaptable to all the environments in which it lives, but at the same time it never loses its animal spirit and its independence. It is a strict carnivore and its energetic needs are the result of an evolutionary adaptation to a very specialized diet. Knowing these needs and their eating habits can help us to offer them a better diet.
