better than most, for the non-note readers!

Contains good material, but is still just an introduction. It does cover a little of just about everything that an electric guitarist needs to learn. The website is basically just a promotional tool to "encourage" people to buy more of their products. This book almost (almost) gets it right. Be aware, there are no notes, and the tab has no rhythm symbols. This is both good and bad, but it does encourage the students to use the CD. However, since the website is supposed to have some of the backing tracks, you have to try and find them on the site. I've tried and can't find any after a few months, and yes I've registered and e-mailed the company twice about it.
