Wireframes are a visual representation of an interface. They are used to communicate the structure, content, and hierarchy of a website. Wireframes can be used as a springboard to generate ideas and concepts for layout, functionality, interface behaviour, and low-medium fidelity interactive prototypes. In our Interactive Prototyping course, we will use wireframes to develop a blueprint for our web and mobile projects. This will help us develop a deeper understanding of how our HTML structure will be executed and flesh out any user navigation issues throughout our web and mobile projects. After developing a solid foundation, we can then begin the design process; creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that will help us produce a final web prototype with semi-functional assets.
