UFC women's bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey has been breaking ground since 2008 when she became the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo. The bronze medalist wasn't satisfied, though, and took the world of mixed martial arts by storm. She has become a crossover superstar with four Strikeforce victories, including a title-winning effort against Miesha Tate. In 2013, she not only became the first woman to compete in the UFC, but she became the promotion's first women's champion, continuing to set the bar high for her peers in the 135-pound weight class.
