Tyra is a playful little tiger who lives in the jungle with her best friend, a happy monkey named Myra. Every day, they love to swing from vines and play beneath the trees.
One day, while exploring deeper into the jungle, the two friends find a big pool of brown mud. Tyra, feeling curious, decides to step in.
But their fun is interrupted when Tyra's mother appears. Seeing her daughter covered in mud, she gently scolds her and tells her to come to the river to get clean. Tyra and Myra start their walk through the jungle, still laughing about their messy adventure.
Along the way, they meet several friends who tease Tyra in good fun.
Elly the Elephant jokes that Tyra looks like a short, brown tree.
Olly the Owl says she looks like melted chocolate ice cream.
Tory the Turtle wonders if brown is her favorite color.
Filla the Fish asks why she "painted her face brown."
Tyra laughs each time and explains that she fell into the mud and is heading to the river to wash it off.
Finally, they reach a sparkling river and a beautiful waterfall. Tyra cleans her fur. The cool water feels wonderful, and soon all the mud is gone. Her orange fur shines again under the sun.
