Who'd have thunk, yes thunk it, this is believe it or not it's my 28th book. Hopefully if you do feel inclined to read any of the promise enclosed you will like one or two. I like some of them quite a lot, which I guess, is my own vanity or the sin of pride, or whatever label you wish to put upon it. You could even say that I have surpassed myself on the rare occasions and produce something that I am quite proud of, and surprised that it ever came from me. At times I think I may be a genius, or it would be nice though if I could be a trainee genius. I wish Then again, I hope that we are all trainee geniuses. There are many, many very talented people who are not famous, or well known. I have no particular urge to make money from my work or to be well-known for it. It would be nice though if a few people liked what I have written, and get something from it on a personal level. That to me is achievement, that to me is doing something worthwhile, that to me to be very kitsch, is a form of caring. So, thank you if you've, purchased this book, Thank you if you like some of the poems in it And thank you above all in having the faith of adventure and the inquisitive mind to delve inside. I suppose what I'm about to say, you might say, is don't bang on about it, give it a rest but I have to say because it's how I really feel. If you can see yourself in some of the works that is what they are written for If they make you laugh, or make you cry, bring out to emotions in any way, that is what they're written for too And if after all this banging on, you actually take up the idea of starting to write yourself, then that to me would be the Pinnacle of my achievement. For they say we've all got one book inside of us, perhaps they should say, we've all got poems inside of us too That is because we all have emotions, subconsciousness and consciousness to play with. They are the creativeness, the base from which to begin. The opinions expressed in these poems and stories are not the opinions of the author. Some of the work may cause distress or upset. This is not my aim. My aim is only to indulge in a free discussion of sometimes hard and difficult subjects. If you are disturbed or upset by any of the works, please seek help. I believe it is necessary to bring these attitudes to the discussion forum and that all opinions are shared so that we are aware of them. It is no good just hiding away from these influences in society as they will fester. The only way to combat this is to bring it into the open. Humans will never agree with everything and there will always be discriminations You might get a completely different meaning from the poems, which is totally fine, and actually encouraged, just the same way people get different ideas from all art In some of the work you will also find hidden meanings and unusual endings in the picture and poems. This is the fun of the chase that the mind pursues So let your mind dive in. Go on give it a treat Warning Some of my poems may contain very explicit language of the street and have unacceptable derogatory language, attitudes and behaviour towards religion, sex and conduct of both men and women, which may offend. Reader discretion is advised. Once again these are not the opinion of the author, but of the person conjured up for the poem. I am a staunch believer of equal rights for all, and will always remain so The contents of this book are in no way intended to provoke, incite or shock the reader, but just to illicit and educate discussion.
