Clementyne Jones wanted just one thing; to be allowed to live her life her way. It was the reason why she lived in Tucson, Arizona and not Los Angeles or New York while plying her trade as the writer of popular novels. She freely admitted to using a pen name to keep as much privacy as she could. It was her way of assuring she would be liked for herself in terms of her friends and in romance. When tapped to write a screenplay for one of her books, she jumped into it, glad for the challenge.
