Tying My Sandal is my first collection of haiku. 180 haiku were chosen for this book, dating from the summer of 2022 to summer of 2023. Various moments from the passing seasons are put in verse, chronologically, allowing the reader to feel the sense of a passing year. They are all written in free-verse, a style that does not abide by the traditional form of the 5-7-5 syllable count, nor the use of a season word. Thank you for considering my book.
