In the summer of 2017, my life fell apart. My marriage and relationship of almost a decade abruptly ended. Someone suggested a trip to Japan. For some insane reason, I decided to follow their advice. The following is an account of my two weeks in Japan. A journey of self reflection, crazy adventures, kind people, friends, robots, bodybuilders, beautiful women, and spirituality. In the process, Japan and its people saved my life. This is my love letter to that country, and to that time frame of my life where in the midst of my greatest personal chaos, I found my North Star in the beautiful cities of Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka, and Tokyo.
