Ben follows a mysterious phone call from Kevin Barker, Maxine's captor, to Kevin's isolated property. Kevin, suffering from a split personality disorder, has kept Maxine captive in a barn. Ben confronts Kevin, navigating his dual personalities, one child, like and wanting to help, the other a delusional soldier trapped in his Iraq war experiences. Ben manages to free Maxine.
