These two novels are now being published together. Blue was my first novel, about a young man who loses his mind over drugs, alcohol, mental illness, and grief. In the Flat Field, my second novel, is about grief, loss, and the efforts by two men to come to terms with loss and their desire to change the world, save the environment. One becomes intent on reducing human population on the planet while the other loses himself in a virtual world of women...
