Adnexal torsion is a gynecological surgical emergency, its pathogenesis is multifactorial and remains poorly elucidated, but it seems that the keystone of all these mechanisms is the existence of an adnexal mass.A retrospective study of 60 cases of patients admitted for adnexal torsion at the Monastir Gynecology-Obstetrics Department from January 1, 2017 to January 31, 2022, revealed that this pathology represents 14.93% of all gynecological emergencies.
