I loved this book! The story of Ronna and Simba's love affair kept me hooked to the very end. I liked how the characters came together through music--which was very important in this time period. The group of people were so different yet they all had the same thing on their minds--drugs, music, and escaping the murder spree. Each one of them could be a suspect because of the way they live or what they look like. These people risked their lives for each other by travelling across the country. They shared the kind of friendship you don't see much of anymore. The end blew my mind!
This book is forever in my memory!
