This book is for me. It is a diary of my life through early adulthood, my descent into depression and my battle for stability. I've put these poems into chronological order, spanning from June 2011 to August 2016. These five years have been the most tumultuous in my life so far. As such, many of these poems explore very dark places, grappling with emotions very personal to me. I am presenting them as is, with no filter, no objective, other than to chronicle my journey. It is important to bear in mind that these poems are reflections of my feelings at the time they were written. As of this writing, I have climbed out of a place of suffering. I am comfortable and content. It felt like an appropriate time to mark the end of a chapter, and put the years together into a volume for posterity.
