Twisted Mind

This is my first book and I'm just getting my feet wet there are a lot more coming. This book is made up of some of my favorite poems that I have written over the years. They all represent an emotion, feelings, or a thought that's went through my head at some point or another. These extreme conditions can be very confusing and can all happen at the same time. This book of poetry in its own way tells some of my life story, how a simple small town country boys emotions and thoughts can go from one extreme to another at the drop of a hat. Not what I was expecting

So I didn't look too much, but saw Shane Hawley and that it was written in 2014 and somehow thought it was Shane Hawley the Slam Poet that wrote Wile E. Coyote. I'm like 97% sure this isn't the same guy. The writing style feels very different and at a different experience level. This book, was pleasant enough and filled with couplet poetry throughout. Nothing too controversial, most definitely honest and heartfelt. Many of the poems made me fade back to the complex feeling of the high school years, so it might be a great gift for that special teenager in your life who loves reading poetry.
