An excellent book for improving vocabulary for tests.

This book is a "programmed book" for learning vocabulary. When used properly it gives a flashcard like approach to multiple choice questions without the "mess" of flashcards. However, like flashcards, the words in this book, for the most part, aren't given in context. I used it to study for the vocab portion of the GRE and imagine it would be equally helpful for other vocabulary based standardized tests. The book is divided into sections of varying difficulty levels and also includes analogy, opposite, and sentence completion sections.
