Twelve students, trapped underground-and running out of air.
Maya and her students won't make it home from their field trip today. Neither will their guide. But that's only the beginning of the nightmare.
Teacher Maya blames herself for what happened. She couldn't protect them, just like she couldn't protect Emma three years ago when cyberbullying drove her to suicide. But this time, everything will be different. It has to be.
Trapped in a mine chamber twenty feet underground, Maya and the students do their best to stay calm. The kidnapper insists that if everyone confesses what they did to Emma, they'll be freed. But Maya isn't sure they'll last that long. Neither is Sierra. It's dark and cramped, and with every passing minute it's getting harder to breathe.
With time-and air-running thin, Maya and her students must find a way to outsmart their captor, or face an unthinkable fate.
Twenty Feet Down was inspired by actual events.
