Twelve Sisters was well written, not too passive and quite descriptive. I enjoyed reading about the different women, who were all very realistic, as were their stories about the lives. I found it believable. It got my mind active and had me wondering about women in my own ward and what stories they have to tell. If a book draws you in like that, it's a good sign. The only suggestion I have is that the character who dies be brought into the story earlier on. Part of the fun of reading this was wondering who died. When you don't introduce the character until the end of the book, then we haven't build up an attachment to them and therefore their death means nothing to us.
