The most difficult thing to accept in life is the fact that one day we have to part. That is why we try our earnest no to think about it. I am further convinced that our social system is purposely and solely designed to keep us active, in order to distract us from realizing how morbid that fact really is. Nevertheless from time to time we witness the death of our love ones. Then we have no alternative than confront head on this most tragic aspect of life. Then we realize how heartbreaking, how very heartbreaking death is We could spend our entire life trying to reconcile the fact that a person was so vivid for so many years and then suddenly it is no more, forever. This reality is impossible to reconcile, particularly when it has to do with our dear loved ones, because it is utterly contradictory. We miss them so much.You are here and suddenly you are no more Were you really ever here? Was it a product of my imagination? Is it the cruelest of realities?This small collection of twelve poems deals succinctly with the nature of this painful feeling of despair.
