This book would be perfect for theatre students or fine arts students. It lists awards, ratings, TV programming and the classic commercials in the 1950s and beyond. For instance, a sample of the descriptions follows: - a 1952 posting for Best Public Affairs by Bishop Sheen - Best Children's- Time for Beany (KTLA) - Most Outstanding Person-Jimmy Durante - Best Actress-Helen Hayes Much of this stuff would be impossible to research now except through a volume like this one.
