Turtle Island: Tales of the Algonquian Nations

This book is great for introducing children of all ages to the Algonquian world-view. Some of the stories are easy for anyone to understand. Others require more study to fully appreciate them. As a storyteller who specializes in Native American animal stories, I found several in this book to add to my repertoire.
